About the Owner – Mike Denham
Regional Tree Care is proudly Veteran-Owned and operated by Mike Denham, who is a United States Marine whose commitment to service continues long after his time in uniform.
Today, that same commitment to discipline, accountability, and service continues to shape Regional Tree Care as a trusted local and veteran-owned tree business in Orlando.
Mike enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2007, shortly after graduating high school. His decision to serve was rooted in a deep sense of duty to his country, formed years earlier while watching the events of September 11th unfold from his 7th grade
classroom. In that moment, like many Americans, he felt the weight of helplessness and the desire to stand for something greater than himself. Years later, he answered that call.
He began recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in June 2007 and graduated on September 7th of that same year. Earning the title of United States Marine remains one of his proudest accomplishments. Mike served as an 0311 Infantry Rifleman and supported Operation Enduring Freedom during his time in service.
While stationed in Washington, D.C., Mike had the honor of participating in more than 100 funeral ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, paying final respects to fallen service members and veterans. He also completed multiple joint-service assignments throughout the nation’s capital, including missions at The Pentagon, White House, and Marine Corps Base Quantico.
In 2009, his unit received recognition from the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee for its role in the ceremony and security efforts surrounding Barack Obama’s Presidential Inauguration.
Mike is the first to say his role was just one small part of a much larger mission—but he will always be proud to have served among what he believes to be this nation’s finest fighting force, the United States Marines. He carries deep gratitude for every man and woman who has worn the uniform in defense of our country.
Today, the same values instilled in him during his time in the Marine Corps—honesty, integrity, loyalty, discipline, and commitment—form the foundation of Regional Tree Care. Those principles guide how the company treats its clients, cares for their property, and builds lasting relationships within the community.
Service didn’t end when the uniform came off. It simply found a new mission.
